اتودسک رویت (Autodesk Revit) نرمافزار مدلسازی اطلاعات ساختمان هست که برای استفاده ی مهندسان معمار، عمران و تاسیسات کاربرد دارد و برای مدلسازی سهبعدی و ترسیم جزئیات ساختمانی کاربرد دارد. این برنامه به کاربران توان طراحی ساختمان و سازه و مولفه های آن به صورت سه بعدی (3D)، یادداشت و علامت گذاری با عناصر دوبعدی و دسترسی اطلاعات ساختمانی از پایگاه داده های مدل ساختمان را می دهد. این نرمافزار به علت قدرت بالای خلق اثر در نرمافزارهای مهندسی از ریشه ی revitalization به معنای حیات بخش و زندگی آفرین و revitalize به معنای تجدید حیات و قدرت و زندگی تازه دادن گرفته شده است. رویت قادر به گردآوری اطلاعات و مدل سازی ساختمان به گونه ای 4 بعدی (قابلیت مدیرت مالی و هزینه تولید و مصرف بر پایه زمان علاوه بر ترسیم سه بعدی را 4D BIM مینامند.) با ابزاری برای طرح ریزی و ردیابی طبقات مختلف در شیوه ی زندگی ساختمان، از مفهوم تا ساخت و ویرانی پس از آن است. رقیب اصلی نرمافزار رویت در بازار تکلا استراکچرز و آرشیتکچرال
دسکتاپ است.
این نرمافزار دارای سه نسخهٔ معماری، عمران و تاسیسات است که بر روی سیستم عامل
ویندوز اجرا میشوند.
چند ویژگی مهم این نرمافزار به شرح زیر است:
- سادگی و سرعت یادگیری آن
- افزایش سرعت و دقت ترسیم و همچنین تغییر نقشهها
- ترسیم همزمان ۳بعدی و ۲بعدی نقشههای ساختمان
- تبدیل سریع نقشههای فاز ۱ به نقشههای فاز ۲
- ارتباط همزمان نقشههای معماری با نقشههای سازه و تاسیسات و اعمال همزمان تغییرات بین این نقشهها
- حذف خطاهای انطباق نماها و پلانها و مقاطع
- امکان انجام مطالعات اقلیمی (نور و سایه) بر روی ساختمان
- امکان تعریف استانداردهای ساخت در تجهیزات ساختمان
- محاسبه متره ساختمان و تغییر سریع آن در صورت تغییر نقشهها
- قابلیت ارتباطی با دیگر
نرم افزارهای BIM از طریق IFC و نیز اتوکد , 3Dmax (ورودی و خروجی)
- امکان طراحی حجمی و تبدیل آن به نقشههای اجرایی

- Revit: View Range
Floor plans are an essential part of any Revit project. And one of the most critical (and confusing) aspects of any floor plan is view range. The view range settings are linked to three horizontal planes that control the visibility and display of objects in a plan view—Top, Cut Plane, and Bottom—as well as an additional plane called View Depth. Properties can be adjusted through the View Range dialog, but only certain elements are "cuttable. " There are special case rules for elements such as floors, walls, and stairs. Here Paul F. Aubin explains each of the view range settings and properties in detail, demystifying these functions once and for all. Learn what the cut plane does and why certain elements seem to have their own rules when it comes to interacting with the cut.
