OMNIS محصول جدید و پیشرفته شرکت NUMECA یک حل‌گر به روش شبکه بولتزمن (Lattice-Boltzmann) بر پایه ذرات بوده که در شبیه‌سازی جریان‌های پیچیده و با دقت بالا کاربرد دارد. این نرم افزار به راحتی هندسه‌های متحرک، برخوردهای جامد و جریان‌های آزاد سطحی را در تحلیل خود قرار می‌دهد. این نرم افزار در ابتدا برای کاربردهای داخلی چندفازی نظیر جعبه‌دنده، یاتاقان و پمپ‌های حجمی طراحی شده بود اما با توسعه یافتن قابلیت‌های خاص و ویژه آن، اکنون کاربرد بسیار وسیع‌تری در مهندسی دارد.

OMNIS 5
NUMECA OMNIS is a particle-based Lattice-Boltzmann solver for complex and high-fidelity flow simulations. It easily handles complex geometry with moving parts, solid contacts, free surface flows. The engineering days spent in geometry preparation, mesh, and simulation setups are now reduced down to minutes of your precious time. This first release is primarily dedicated to internal multiphase flow applications such as gearboxes, bearings, and volumetric pumps.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- Supported platforms & operating systems
Limitations: Virtual machine is not supported.
Important: Microsoft visual c++ 2017 redistributable must be available on the machine when installing using the option only for me on Windows platforms.
OMNIS™ is formally tested and supported on x86_64 processors (64 bits only):
Windows platforms:
- Windows 8.1,
- Windows 10.
Hardware & grapltics requirements:
In addition to the standard hardware (monitor, keyboard and mouse).some specific recommendations apply in the use of OMNIS™:
- A mouse with scroll wheel is strongly recommended.
- The monitor should be full HD (1920xl080 pixel resolution) for adequate visualization.
- An Ethernet card should be installed and properly configured.
- A graphics card with the latest drivers of the manufacturer installed, supporting the 3D acceleration standard OpenGL >=4.1 (tested on NVidia Quadro 4000, NVidia GeForce GTX680 and similar).
Important:
On Windows, the Power saver mode can lead to different graphical problems (i.e.cannot interactively move the seed point). The solution is to switch the power mode to another one: Balanced, High performance ..., which depends on the used graphic card driver.
- Memory requirements
The Random Access Memory (RAM) required to run OMNIS™ depends upon several factors, in particular including the number of
grid points inserted in the grid and the mode (serial or parallel) selected. As a general guideline, we recommend a minimum of 16 GB memory (RAM) to run OMNIS™.
- Compilatio11 requirementsfor OpenLabs:
Customization of the CFD models using OpenLabsT:\I requires the possibility for compilation.
On \Vindows 64 bit, Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2017 must be installed.

On Linux 64 bit, the GNU C and C++ compiler (g++) must be installed. The gee version should be 4.8.# or 4.9.# (type the command
gee -v in a shell to get your gee version). The officially tested version is g++ 4.8.5.
