Windows Server 2022 جدیدترین نسل سیستم عامل ویندوز برای سرورها بوده که در شهریور ۱۴۰۰ منتشر و جایگزین Windows Server 2019 و Windows Server 2016 شده است. مشابه با ویندوز سرور ۲۰۱۹، این نسخه از سیستم عامل با Windows 10 هسته مشترکی داشته و برخلاف انتظار، بر پایه Windows 11 طراحی نشده است. این سیستم عامل در کانال LTSC منتشر شده و علاوه بر تغییرات ظاهری اندک، دارای بسیاری از رفع خطاها، ایرادات گزارش شده و همچنین قابلیت‌های جدید خصوصاً در حوزه امنیت می‌باشد. همچنین با عدم استقبال از Windows Server SAC، توسعه آن متوقف و Windows Server Core جایگزین آن شده است؛ در ادامه همراه ما باشید.

یکی از ویژگی‌های بسیار نوین ویندوز سرور 2022 پیاده‌سازی امکانات امنیتی برای استخراج رمز ازرها است. صنعت رمز ارزها با انواع حملات باج افزار یا Ransomware روبرو هستند که مهم‌ترین آنها EternalBlue Exploit نام دارد. در این نسخه از ویندوز با پشتیبانی از امنیت مجازی سازی شده یا VBS و HVCI کاملاً نسبت به این گونه حملات ایمن شده است.
