The view range settings are linked to three horizontal planes that control the visibility and display of objects in a plan view—Top, Cut Plane, and Bottom—as well as an additional plane called View Depth. Properties can be adjusted through the View Range dialog, but only certain elements are "cuttable. " There are special case rules for elements such as floors, walls, and stairs. Here Paul F.
